Kuala Kangsar District 6th Location For Perak State Government MCD Mesra Programme 2024.

KUALA KANGSAR, 12 August 2024 - Kuala Kangsar District was the sixth location for the Meet The Clients Day (MCD) MESRA programme 2024, which aimed to give local residents the opportunity to meet with the Perak State Government administration as well as state and district department heads to resolve their complaints.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said for this series a total of 69 complaint counters were opened, involving all the State Government portfolios, department heads, district officers and municipal council presidents.
"Today, a total of 177 complaints were received from the Kuala Kangsar District residents, and the State Government takes every issue raised seriously and is committed to dealing with them thoroughly.
"We are committed to resolving every complaint within a reasonable period of time, taking into account the level of complexity and resource requirements," he said.
He said this in a press conference after the MCD MESRA programme 2024 6th Series at Dewan Jubli Perak here.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and. Kuala Kangsar District Officer Muhammad Nazri Abdullah.
Dato' Seri Saarani added that up to Series 5, out of 998 complaints received, 957 (96%) were successfully resolved, while 41 (4%) are still pending.
"Based on the data, the complaint resolution rate shows an increase compared to the previous series which recorded 89%.
"I would like to express my thanks and congratulations to the Perak State Secretariat and departments that have shown a high commitment in resolving the people's complaints," he said.
