INTRADE: Manifestation Of Government Fostering Ties With Rural Communities.

BAGAN DATUK, 26 April 2025 - Deputy Prime Minister and Rural and Regional Development Minister Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi officiated the Rural Transformation Initiative (INTRADE) Submodule programme at Politeknik Bagan Datuk here.
The initiative under the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management (DPA) Programme organised by the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) is a manifestation of the MADANI Government's commitment to empowering the people through rural development.
The INTRADE programme, held from 21 to 30 April 2025 in Bagan Datuk District, involved close collaboration between the Perak State Secretariat (PSUK) and Bagan Datuk District and Land Office.
A total of 119 Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD) Cadets participated in the programme, by being placed with local foster families and practising the value of empathy in every interaction with the local community.
Based on the value of well-being, the initiative emphasised the balance of physical and social development.
Besides, the INTRADE programme also served as an important platform in shaping young civil servants who are not only knowledgeable, but also have a heart for the people, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI, which upholds noble values in every aspect of national development.
Also present were Public Service Deputy Director-General (Development) Dr. Mohd Bakhari Ismail, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, INTAN Director Datuk Dr. Mohd Zabri Yusoff, Economy Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Nor Azmie Diron, and Bagan Datuk District Officer Muhamad Ghopran Yeop Hamzah.
