BATU GAJAH, 26 May 2025 - The commitment of the Perak State Government in reaching out and understanding the needs of the people continues to be strengthened through the implementation of the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day (MCD) Series 3/2025.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said the second location outside of Ipoh for the MCD this year aligns with the State Government’s inclusive approach to ensure wider access and benefits to government services.

Today, a total of 130 complaints were received covering various issues and problems faced by the people. Until the implementation of the previous second series, we have successfully collected 236 complaints, with 167 (71%) resolved, while the remaining 69 (29%) complaints are still in the process of further action.

"Based on the complaints received, most are related to land applications, damaged road, streetlights and government facilities, stray animal issues, and financial aid applications," he said at a press conference after the Perak State Government MCD MESRA Programme Series 3/205 at the Kinta Town Hall here.

The organisation of the Perak State Government MCD Series 3/2025 involved 92 customer service counters and 3 mobile counters to enable the public to obtain information services directly from the relevant departments.

"Rahmah Sales by Syarikat Berkat Jaya and Inflow Global Marketing are also held to provide an opportunity for the people to obtain daily necessities at more affordable prices," he said.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members and Kinta District Officer Zulhisham Ahmad Shukori.

Moreover, HRD Corp, an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA), also carried out another strategic initiative, i.e., the implementation of National Training Week (NTW) 2025.

"NTW 2025 targets the participation of 100,000 Perak residents, covering five main areas: Life Skills, Future Skills, Finance, Sustainable Development, and Creativity and Innovation; all of which will be offered free of charge to all segments of society from April to June 2025.

"This initiative is part of the Perak State Government’s inclusive approach in providing learning and skill enhancement opportunities for the people," he explained.
