Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme Series 5/2025.

Today, 103 complaints were received covering various issues and problems faced by the people.

IPOH, 21 July 2025 - The State Government is committed to continuing the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day (MCD) MESRA Programme as a permanent platform for the people to voice their problems or views to the government leaders and departments.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said this at a press conference during the Perak State Government MCD MESRA Programme Series 5/2025 at Stadium Indera Mulia here.

“This MCD is being held regularly because we understand that sometimes the people have appointments, but the state leaders are unable to attend due to other matters such as meetings in Putrajaya or Kuala Lumpur."

"With this programme, the people know they can come not only to meet me directly, but also with other parties, including heads of departments and agencies, such as Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC), Menteri Besar Incorporate (MB Inc), State Secretary Incorporated (SSI) and so forth," he said.

According to him, the programme brought together 96 customer service counters, 6 mobile counters and 11 exhibitions from various government departments and agencies.

"Today, 103 complaints were received covering various issues and problems faced by the people. Up to the fourth series previously, 441 complaints had been recorded with 391 (89%) of them successfully resolved, while the remaining 50 (11%) complaints are still in the process of follow-up action.

"In conjunction with the Warriors’ Day celebration, the exhibition also featured some of the frontline units, including VAT 69, FRU, Bomba and PDRM Amanita Squad," he stated.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.

At the programme, Dato' Seri Saarani also officiated the presentation of incentives to 10 representatives of Perak State Government retirees for 2024, symbolising appreciation for all the 399 retirees who retired between 1 January to 31 December 2024.

Each retiree is eligible to receive an incentive in the form of a Premium Savings Certificate (SPP), involving a total amount of RM1,650,200.

The criteria for receiving this incentive are retirees from the management and professional group who have served 15 years or more, and retirees from the implementing group who have served 20 years or more.

Service is calculated cumulatively in the Perak Public Service and must be aged 50 and above.

Additionally, the state government also presented a retirement gift of RM600 each to all retirees, including those not eligible as their period of service in the Perak Public Service was less than the stipulated criteria.

The two categories of recipients are retirees eligible for the incentive and retirement gift amounting to RM4,600 and non-eligible retirees will receive a retirement gift of RM600.

This initiative reflects the Perak State Government's concern for the welfare of civil servants who have served with dedication throughout their service.
