TAIPING, 26 July 2025 – The National Audit Department (JAN) continues to strengthen community relations through the organisation of the Santuni MADANI Programme 2025 at Sekolah Menengah Sains Raja Tun Azlan Shah (SERATAS), Taman Tasik Taiping.

The programme featured various contents, including education, community well-being and environmental sustainability.

As a knowledge-sharing platform, one of the main contents was an Executive Talk titled ‘Amanah Untuk Negara: Peranan Saya, Peranan Anda’ by Auditor General Dato’ Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi.

The session emphasised the importance of integrity as the core of administration. Also, a talk on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was held to open up new perspectives on the importance of technology in the present and future, particularly in the education sector.

Besides the knowledge-sharing session, Dato’ Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi also presented contributions for physical projects, including upgrading the volleyball court, replacing the school hall’s air conditioning system, and providing stone benches to enhance the comfort of the learning environment.

She also officiated the presentation of the Auditor General Cup volleyball tournament at the school. The programme was further extended via community gotong-royong activities in Taman Ulu Tupai, focussing on cleanliness and pollution issues of Sungai Tupai, thereby stressing on the importance of environmental conservation.

According to her, the organisation of this programme not only provides physical development benefits, but also fosters the value of shared responsibility between the government and the community.

"The government can provide assistance, but the environmental sustainability depends on the community’s awareness to jointly care for and maintain it," she elaborated.

This effort focuses on home repair assistance for those in need, involving four houses in Kampung Pokok Assam and Kampung Tupai with an allocation of RM20,000 for each unit.

This measure aims to improve the quality of life and safety of the selected families' homes.
