HRH Sultan of Perak arriving at the Arena Kuala Kangsar Ramadan Bazaar

KUALA KANGSAR, 28 February 2026 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah visited the Arena Kuala Kangsar Ramadan Bazaar here today.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by HRH Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.

Also present were Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen. (Rtd) Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin, Kuala Kangsar Territorial Chief Toh Maharaja Indera Dato' Dr. Khairil Anuar Arshad, Kuala Kangsar District Officer Azrul Sani Ibrahim, Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council President Dr. Sakduddin Zamli, and Bukit Chandan Assemblyman Dr. Hashim Bujang.

Their Royal Highnesses spent about 20 minutes exploring the bazaar atmosphere, which is the focus of local residents throughout the month of Ramadan.

During the visit, the royal couple purchased various breaking fast delicacies, including traditional cakes.

They also mingled warmly with the traders and visitors at the bazaar.

The presence of Their Royal Highnesses brightened the bazaar atmosphere as visitors took the opportunity to greet, shake hands and take photos with them.

The visit reflects Their Royal Highnesses’ concern for the people’s economic activities and the continued support of the royal institution for small and medium traders, especially during the month of Ramadan.
