IPOH, 16 March 2026 — The Perak State Government continues to be committed in strengthening its approach of going down to the ground and be close to the people via the Meet The Clients Day (HBP) MESRA Programme, Second Series 2026, held at Stadium Indera Mulia in Ipoh

The programme, which brought together various state departments and agencies, provided space for the people to submit complaints, suggestions and obtain services directly from the relevant authorities.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad said this HBP programme involved 96 customer service counters from various state departments and agencies and one mobile counter.

“For this series, 175 complaints were received involving various public issues and up to the previous series, we have received a total of 285 complaints. Of the total, 236 (83%) have been resolved, while 49 (17%) are still in the process of further action,” he said this during a media conference at the State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme, Second Series 2026.

Also present were State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin.

Dato’ Seri Saarani added that besides the customer service counters, the programme also featured additional activities, such as Cheap Sales by Yayasan Bina Upaya (YBU) and Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (SADC).

“In addition, Jualan Rahmah by MYDIN and Berkat Jaya, as well as Raya cookie sales by six entrepreneurs registered under the Perak Entrepreneur Secretariat (STEP) are organised. This is in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration to provide the people an opportunity to obtain essential goods and festive preparations at cheaper and more affordable prices, thereby helping to ease their expenses,” he said.

Earlier in the morning, Dato’ Seri Saarani launched the Perak Public Library Corporation (PPANPk) Digital Library Van.

The Digital Library Van is an innovative initiative by PPANPK to bring library services to the community, especially in rural areas or places with limited access to library facilities.

With the concept “Knowledge at Your Fingertips, Connecting the Community”, the van functions as a mobile learning centre, combining reading materials, digital technology and interactive educational activities.
